Absolutely. The trouble is that people are so busy these days and I don’t like to bother them. I had a really bad day yesterday as my brother died 3 weeks ago. I so longed to hear a friend’s voice or especially to have a hug but didn’t want to appear needy by reaching out first…

very sorry

I know I'd feel it hard but hopefully I die before those that I love go

That is what worries me sick, I just couldn’t survive without my husband. With my disability - both physical and mental - he does all the cooking, shopping etc and I do feel guilty about it. My driving licence expired when I was 70 and my neurologist advised me not to renew it as my mobility is so poor. Unfortunately two close school friends died recently and also one of if not my best friend who lived just round the corner from me. I find death very hard to deal with when it is ones I love. I miss them so much.
