Mertazipine

I am coming off sertraline and going onto mertazipine. I had bad side effects with the sertraline - shakey edgy agitated not sleeping. I was taking 25mg on the morning now will take 15mg of mertazipine in the evening. Anyone on same?

I started mirtazipine 15mg in September and I have tolerated it better than all other antidepressants I've been on. It has helped wonders with my sleep, best sleep I've had. My anxiety during the day day has improved a lot, I don't seem to get agitated as much, and I can say that it's been very helpful with my depression so far also. I don't seem to have any side effects that I notice. I've taken most ssri meds, and they always gave me more side effects with little to no effectiveness, and increased my anxiety. Snri's also had side effects and caused daytime sleepiness. I have also taken Wellbutrin although it worked at times, the last couple times tried it just wasn't helpful. Mirtazipine has honestly been a miracle medicine for me. I've struggled with treatment resistant major depressive disorder since early 2019, and I can finally say that I am doing much better, and so thankful for the benefits of mirtazipine. How long have you been taking this medication, you need to allow about five weeks for the drug to work
