my son was diagnosed psychotic episode drug induced from lsd and given this he had to stay two times in the hospital now seems better but I am worried about this side effects and how long people can be on it ? He said today my face is different , seems rounded . Doesn’t look like he gained weight . He had taken first 5 mg for a week then they put to 10 mg for two weeks . Also seemed so tired when we were visiting in hospital , now at home not tired so far . Thanks for listening! I have been worried for months .

In my opinion olanzapine is not a nice drug to take every day it is excellent for stopping bipolar mania Was your sons psychosis from LSD ? Do you think this was a one off or has your son been diagnosed with schizophrenia?
