i’ve always thought about this when I analyzed my depression. I mention it to my psychiatrist but will do so again. Basically what it means is that you are depressed for a couple weeks then it goes away ,and comes back a couple weeks It is not severe but very frustrating. I am thankful though that I do have great days and that afternoons and evenings I am feeling good.
This is called diurnal variation by the way. You feel flat upon waking and it gets better as the day goes on
Anyone feel they are in the same boat? Thanks

I have just spent twelve months waiting for two operations, now complete although one have an error and that means ten weeks more treatment.
It gets to me, like you I suppose and all we can do is try and control our depressions. In life I suppose we all go through periods of negativity, and it is up to us to try and be more positive with thoughts and fears.
I my case the ops have changed my opinions of life in general and helps with any expectations and positive thoughs, Move on is the best way forward
thanks for your reply . I admire your positivity! I too keep moving always. I don’t see and wait to get out of a funk but it is our fortune that we are able to do this. I hope you have your second procedure soon and that it goes really well
Yes I have had my second proceedure three weeks ago and it was examined last Friday. Although I have to have additional checkups I still also need quite a bit of medications for at least the next four weeks.
I am noticing small changes each day now and every morning I am more positive regarding the treatment. Try not look at the glass of life as just half full never completely empty, You will eventually find the glass of life will slowely fill up once more. Remember negative and positive feelings are just parts of the experiences in live in general, we need those ups and downs to learn from life experiences, Yes I still suffer Depression although the attitude has now changed as I move on down that pathway we have been placed upon too learn
Good to hear you are doing better. I feel good but I know there’s more for me to do and feel. I sometimes get stuck in a low funk but for whatever reason the afternoons and evenings bring me back to joy. Take care
When I was at work I hated the day especially getting up at six in the morning to catch the bus to get me in for eight o clock. In some ways I received no understanding especially in the summer where our hours were extended every second week I would get home at eight in the evenings on occassions and that knocked me sideways, however I was lucky was pensioned out early and I was able to perform all my interests including a writer. Try and be more positive as the day of work ends and look for any important interests you may have.
