Bad dreams

I have bad dreams about a sexual abuse encounter where I think I may have been date raped. The dreams are random and I don’t know how to stop them. They typically happen on nights where something like a conversation in the day may have triggered them. If you’ve experienced this, what do you do to release this anguish?

Try changing your sleeping position or try and relax before bed talking about something more fulfilling I change the position of my pillow and before be do not take food etc just before bed, Try to relax before bed. Drink can also cause Nightmares, If you take medications before bed, change the time you take them, I allow about one hour before sleep

Me sitting here with a strong beer and a large Malt
