Bob I think theres a shortage in some medications since this brexit carry on happened! Some of the meds are imported ! I hope you, hazel and pax are well take care david
Hello Thank you that is what I thought. Consider using Small Independent Chemists if you have problems. We tried Tesco and they suppled a prescription the contents had been lost at GP The other medication was a Cox 2 Inhibitor for my joint pain. We went to a Chemist the Tesco had found for us.The strange thing was the drug is manufactured in the UK although some of the contents may have come from Europe. We are heading into interesting times. When we came out the Surgery people were waiting in a long line on the doorstep.. Waiting to get a turn to be served at a chemist, next door
Hi Bob I tend to use the pharmacy near my doctors as if there's any problems they're very good getting me what I need very rarely have they let me down! My wife makes up the boxes with my tablets in it so I can usually tell when I'm running low! I hope you all stay safe and healthy david
Look after yourselve David. I talk to my GP Thursday, I have various health worries at this time and have been given permission to use the Physio if I need treatment or manipulation.
My main concern I start to bleed through my skin where there is no real damage. Also my memory is getting worse, I have problems remembering the date and jobs that need to be done. So there is a great deal to discuss
Dear, dear Bob, I am truly so sorry to read the troubles you had/having, I hope that you managed to get sorted out with your meds, and for what it is worth I do not think that you have ever done or said anything wrong on here. You have always been right in what you have said about various things and I hope you will never leave as I for one will miss your honesty and knowledge of so many things. Please stay in touch. xxx
I have had to wait for medication to be ordered in a few times now but usually arrives within 48 hours but also my chemist which is one of the largest named companies has said certain items they can’t get at the moment . I know pharmacy’s and the hospitals have not been able get in stock one item for sure DOCUSLATE , don’t no if it’s due to covid or brexit but imagen it would be one of them to reasons Bob
I talk to my GP on thursday and will be changing my Chemist, if I need a certain medication I will go to the place where there is no problem getting it. It took my old Doctor two years to get my medications correct, my new GP changed me onto a Generic. The problem is yes they can get the original drug although that costs a great deal more for the same bangs to the buck, they will not change back.
