Getting diagnosed for personality disorder

I’ve always been scared of getting diagnosed for my personality because I feel like I don’t really know myself. I struggle with anxiety and depression. How can I make the process of getting assessed less stressful and get it done accurately? I don’t want to be misdiagnosed because I catastrophize my problems and don’t want to make a bigger deal about my personality than it is.

Before you go for an assessment make out a list of your worries and concerns. This will help you not forget anything, like where your pains are and how your mental health is affecting you, this will help your Doctor and any Specialists you will see. Give it a try
