Anyone have experience of tapering off anti depressants ; I took mirtazipine for the first time approximately 3 months ago ; 15mg a day. It makes me feel constantly sick and no longer need to take it ; but understand if you just stop taking it more severe side effects may happen.

Yes I did reduce the dose because of my age, the Doctor explained to my Wife because She controls my medications It took about one month to cut my medication by about 50% you need support and do it under the Doctors instructions.

Yes you must talk to your doctor about tapering off! Go to him or her with all your questions and symptoms!
