Good morning

I started citalopram 20 days ago for anxiety.

Side effects still there but sleep better. I take 10mg in morning as I suffered with insomnia even before taking.

My weight loss over a couple of months has been alarming. Has anyone else had weight loss from anxiety and stress.

Kindest regards

Generally people can suffer weight gain on these medication, so if this is the case talk to your Doctor.

Citalopram may take a bit longer to work say a further two to three weeks, your GP may decide to increase the medication dose for a time. If need arises. Hopefully you will eventually feel better in yourself and move on down that well worn pathway to good health once more.

Keep a hold
