Is sertraline good for anxiety ?

Hey guys

Since my brother pass away last year I have being getting bad chest pain.

When to my doctor so he say it anxiety and he is going to prescribe some sertraline for me but I am so scared to take them because I heard some bad reviews about sertraline.

Help me please

I am practicing deep breathing hope it will help me.

Remember sometimes many people take these medications over short to medium term very few will need to take them long or life term.

If you need to take the medication do not be frightened of them

Yes it can take the edge off anxiety, although you may need to go up in dose before it works.

Side effects differ a lot depending on the individual. They can be bad for some people, or they can be mild. Sexual dysfunction from SSRIs is fairly common.
