As you know , I am a collector of quotes. It seems a little slow around here so I thought I would share a few. You may find one or two enlightens .
1, Do what you feel in your heart to be right.
for you'll be criticized anyway. E.Roosevelt
2. What consumes your mind, controls your life.
3. I stopped looking for the light, decided to become it instead.
4. I would challenge you to a battle of wits , but I see that you are unarmed .
I think no 2 could be really useful , and I love no 4 because it is so me. The part I have yo hide. Enjoy and as everyone in America says " Have a nice day " Pam

I think I can relate to Number 2 on many levels. There was one I heard years ago and it has stuck with me, when people refer to the "grass being greener on the other side??"
The grass MAY be greener but the sky NOT as blue...??

Your Quotes interesting and very American.
It takes me a great deal of thought to remember any type of quote since my Short Term Memory is shot. I wake up in the morning and my thoughts from days past has generally gone. When I come on site I need to read the yesterday replies so I can see where I have been. My only quote I have pinned here may be close to the mark, re below.
Never let the Bas***tards get you down. This I supposed may be banned, I hope not as it is so true.
Mine is " and this too will pass". (in relation to bad times or pain). I know it's in a slightly different vein from yours but just thought I would contribute, as , as you say it's a little slow on the forum right now.
Anyone else got a favourite or inspirational quote in relation to mental health?
This morning I have been looking through yesterday and I had been looking through My Picture Books, on places where I had visited this year. The above saying explains my ways of living very well. What I do is before bed I leave books out from that day, in the morning I can generally go through them again before tea break. I then put them away and get other works out for the new day to look at.
Today my books are on Scottish Ferries, the history, that opens up on holidays I have been on and that opens up other pathways and subjects I can open up on.
We have just Purchased a series of seventy books, that is all pictures from around Scotland, My index then opens up various areas, and takes me around various other books of various subjects of that area. This is how I use my Library. That covers the countries we have visited in the past.
