Depression caused by my weight

Hi,
You could ask for a female GP or practice nurse to weigh you, and tell them you feel uncomfortable being seen by a male doctor. Also check out the free online NHS weight loss plan, which you can follow on your own or get peer support with: nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we...
It's a bit of a 'chicken and egg' situation with weight gain and depression, which makes the other worse? Also antidepressants can increase weight, but it is possible to get your weight under control if you really want to. Sometimes it's hard finding the motivation to start and to keep going. But have a chat with your practice nurse as they can help you too.
Don't give up hope of things changing. Take the first step to take control.
Best wishes,
MAS Nurse
I don't think you look fat x
Tomorrow is the day my GP will probably tell me I am obese I need people to keep me on track I am now bigger than when I started the twelve week lifestyle plan Gail
