Citalopram to fluoxitine

Hi ya

Can anybody give me some hope I have been on citalopram for 10 years 20mg and suddenly found they weren’t helping me anymore so I recently switched to fluoxitine 20mg I’m on day 22 and I’m still feeling very anxious very low very lonely and very sad!!!

I went back to the doctors today and she basically said what do u want me to do I can’t provide a happy pill as u can imagine that did not help I just want to snap out of it and get back to a bit of normality has anybody had the same experience and can give me some good news and tell me I will feel better???

Should they have kicked in by now or do I have to give it 6-8 weeks any advice helps

Hiya I have been on both of them tablets and the fluxitine was awful for me ask the doc about sertaline they have been best out of the 3 x
