Ok, here's my strange situation. My psychiatrist asked me to do a ua. I've never had one before, but I didn't think much of the request. (I'm his new patient)
So I go an have one done, right after I left docs office.
2 days later the nurse calls me to tell me there is no meds showing in my urine so I need to come in have a pill count and do another ua. I did this today.
I'm worried my urine will be clear again. And I have no idea how it was possible the first time.
Does anyone have any experience with this? The stress has heightened my anxiety so much. Ugh.

is this to see if you are taking your meds?? never heard of people being tested like this before. Im guessing from what you write that you have been, but even if you haven't thats ok as not everyone finds meds help them. What meds are you on? it may be that someone medical can explain it if they know what you are taking. I shouldn't worry about the next test - best just to wait and see what happens before worrying.
I never knew psych docs did ua's either. They never told me why they wanted one or two. They also did a pill count. I have no problem doing this, if it makes them happy or whatever. It was just strange my meds never showed up on the ua. (Twice now) very very strange. I take celexa, ativan and buspar. Plus a statin for cholesterol.
Things in the medical field are changing. Which is sad when your being treated for a mental illness and being treated like a criminal.
