Hi Matt, why are you worried about them and, what have they been prescribed for, as sometimes they are given for chronic pain conditions, as well as an anti-depressant? Do discuss with you doctor or pharmacist your fears, as they can hopefully allay them. Here is some information about Duloxetine, SNRI's anti-depressants that may help too:

Hope this help.

Best wishes

Hi Matt, I've been taking duloxetine for about three years (along with a tonne of other meds) for bipolar disorder. I'd tried many other SSRIs such as prozac and SNRIs (of which duloxetine is one) like venlafaxine but with no benefit. Duloxetine has been beneficial mentally but it has few unfortunate side effects. One is acid reflux at night which can be pretty unpleasant but you can get meds from the doc for this. The others are, how shall I put this ... something only a man can experience, and delayed or unusually long (oh this is medical, sod it) orgasms. Not everyone gets this or impotence but my doctor was very happy to prescribe cialis and everything works fine down there now. I hope it's helping you with none of those side effects but if you do get them talk to the doc, it's nothing to be embarrassed about, he or she has seen it all before. Good luck!

Hi been on them for quite a few years. I haven't had any side affects. I'm on 90mg which only a phyciatrist can prescribe. They seem to be helping me and I've been on alot of different anti-depressants. What's your dosage

Hi, I’ve been on Duloxetine for a few years, they were prescribed for chronic pain due to arthritis. I’m currently on 60mg twice a day, along with Pregabalin 225mg x 2 daily. There are side effects, but most lift after taking them for 10 days, good luck 😊
