What a crazy few weeks. My depression got so bad out of nowhere I felt I had to drop out of university to save myself. Going to go to the doctors today to try to get some secondary mental health support. Will try to get a permanent job and settle down into a routine.
HI para86, thanks for your post and letting us know how you are. I am very sorry to hear that you have been so unwell and unable to stay in university. But at the moment, your health is the most important. Studies and going back to university can be put on hold while you recover and maybe sometime you will return to university when you are feeling better. In the meantime ,you are doing all the right things by looking after yourself and also recognising that your depression needed to be managed as well as possible. So well done for having the courage and strength to do the right thing for yourself and to aid in your recovery. I hope you get on well today when you see your doctor and hopefully some help and support can be put in place to help you with your depression. Have you friends or family that you can talk to and who understand that you are not well and that you are going through such a difficult time. The organisation Sane offers emotional support and information, which you may find helpful........

Thanks for the info MAS nurse, but i’m much better. Just needed to get out of uni and now that I am out, I am feeling so so so much better. Almost like a different person! Not sure what possesses me to keep going back to uni if it makes me so ill!
