Don't know where to turn?

Hi guys i'm Mark 38 from Hull! Joined here tonight! I'm currently suffering,low esteem,low confidence,anxiety ! Currently living in a situation where peopted are contributing to this! I need help ASAP n have nowhere to go or no one to turn too!

Hi Mark, sorry to read that you are feeling like this and as a fellow sufferer I can completely sympathise. How long have you been feeling this way? Essentially it sounds like you are depressed. Don't worry, it's not the dirty word it might have been years ago. Depression is very common.

Go and see your GP / Doctor and explain how you are feeling. It doesn't mean you are weak or unmanly or any of the other rubbish, you've just probably been bottling up a load of stuff and it has got on top. I'm 47 and had to go get some meds myself just last night. My mood always plummets when the short days come along. I have learned to recognise when I get like that. I'm married to a really great woman and have a little girl that I love dearly but you know what? When I get like this, in my head I start blaming them for how I'm feeling. The rational part of my brain knows that's crap but you can't help feeling that way. I don't know if that's a similar situation for you. I'm lucky that I have a very, very patient wife that understands what is happening when I get like this.

About 10 years ago I had a complete melt down at work, panic attack, tears, shaking and absolutely no-one knew how to deal with it so they all sat staring at me which didn't help. That was a tipping point for me and I finally got help. There is a great support network out there. You are not alone. Go see your Doctor. Hope things turn around for you soon.

Welcome to this community, glad you have joined us. As you can already see people here understand and want to support each other. There will be people in your community to turn to as well sometimes it is hard to reach out for it or recognise it. As you need help ASAP get an emergency appointment with GP andbe honest. Is there any way to change your living situation?
