Severe back pain and dwpression

Can you get DLA and pip if you suffer from severe back pain and depression I'm on morphine citalopram gabapentin and amatrptaline for it all i can't do stairs so got ground floor flat via docter please can I have some advice as I can't work but just get carers allouance for my husband who has autism disbraxia and asbergis

Hi if you make a new claim now it is PIP not DLA. This is awarded not on the illness but how it affects you. Anyone can make a claim but do get help filling the forms in as they are tricky and depend on fulfilling a certain criteria.

For example you might be asked can you climb stairs. If you just said yes then you would get no points. If you said you could but it takes you 10 minutes, you have pain and have to sit down for an hour afterwards then you would get the points. Get the picture? Good luck.
