Welcome to the site, everyone here is friendly, supportive & non-judgemental!
Sorry to here you are & have had a really rough time with your job! I too a few years ago was going through this with my employer to the point of not being paid! I was called in to meeting after meeting ! Are you diagnosed as being depressed or anxiety or even
If you have a diagnosis of depression & or Anxiety you are classed as having a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act & gives you more leverage & protection!
Do you have a union where you work? If you have it would definitely be worth talking to them! If you can try not to jump before you are pushed or you'll have no rights or ground to stand on! Read the DD Act to give you more knowledge about your rights! Try & push them to make you some sort of offer to you, preferably a financial off & wait to find out their best offer! If you have a disability they are supposed to make reasonable adjustments to allow you to do your job, with support! If they do it all wrong you are allowed to take the to an employment tribunal for unfair dismissal due to disability & lack of support!!
I understand you want to face 'the beast head on'! But be aware that being forewarned in forarmed! You have more rights than you think!
Good Luck & Best Wishes to you Colin! You now have the site to support you! Please continue to post & let us know how you get on!
Great reply Spykey, lots of really good info. Just to point out that the Disability Discrimination Act was replaced by the Equalities Act 2010, but the same things apply about reasonable adjustments. Good Luck.
