Hiya all. Struggling a tad with the black dog lately. Diagnosed with clinical depression 20 years ago. Anyway January is a horrid month. Especially when your a self employed gardener. So I'm not going to beat myself up about lying in bed too much etc. It really helps me if I set myself a little task for the day. Last week it was taking things to the tip one day the next day cleaning the cooker. If I can manage one productive task a day and it's hard but really worth the effort and I don't feel guilty. Maybes worth a try. Love u guys xxx

I have a large piece of white paper, coloured pens a different one for every day of the week, and I write small achievements or things that I have enjoyed on it.

Didn't moan about how crap I felt when i ran into a mate.
Worked now now th play music on the video player.

Coming across a TV programme about the impressionist. Marvellous.
And I doodle on it. Setting fire to it at the end of the week. Before setting another up. Sort of reminds me of the fact life is made up of moments. They are there one minute and gone the next. The good and the bad.
That sounds like an excellent plan!
