I'm new here and I feel terrible writing this because I know people are worse off than me.

I've had depression and I have exams at the moment... My brain is finding it hard to cope with. I have panic attacks all the time because I got stressed out too much. These are only my mock exams too... Anyone able to help? This seems idiotic to put up but I just need a little help.

Hi Sam,

Lori's only asking as the site has an age restriction of 16+.

As to the panic attacks I can't offer any advice specifically as I've never had them, but generally I'd say there's no substitute for proper medical treatment. If you're over 16 then you have the right to medical confidentiality from your GP so it's not like your parents will have to know or anything.

Hi HelpingHandSam,

Maybe you could also look around for some tips on time management and organisation.

Lists are a great way to start. List the things that need to be done daily. Only focus on completing those things that need to be done on that day. Do the easy things first as this gives you motivation and impetus to complete the rest.

If you dont finish - it is important that you dont beat yourself up! Rather look at what you have finished and try and complete the next day's list.

Pretty soon you will have done a whole lot and thus no reason to be anxious.

Hope this helps?
