Anyone else suffer from both?. I had a gastric bypass in 2011 and been bulimic ever since. Wondering if the two are commonly connected?.

Depression & Eating disorders
Not sure if I'm understanding you right. I have had depression and EDS.
Have you had your B12 levels checked - one of the symptoms of B12 deficiency is depression. Most common causes of B12 deficiency are absorption problems which include gastric surgery affecting the ileum (which is where most B12 is absorbed) ... or are you on B12 injections already? Bulimia is also likely to leave you with problems absorbing nutrients from your food.
Have you discussed the bulimia with your GP? ... and the depression and bulimia could also be a bit of chicken and egg with one feeding the other in a visious circle.
I have discussed both with GP. Had CBT but that didn't work. First into antidepressants to try an curb the constant binge eating daily. I've had blood tests but nothing recent..
May be worth asking for them again - and also worth asking for a print out of the last test results. The test for B12 deficiency isn't a good one and the GP needs to evaluate symptoms but most aren't aware of this
You can find a list of symptoms here

if other things on the list ring bells then I would recommend joining the PAS forum on health unlocked as getting a diagnosis can be very difficult.
I can't really help with the bulimia - that is a real toughie - don't know if you have looked for a support group for eating disorders - there must be some out there.
I agree with Gambit 62 unbeknown to most Drs ,a simple vitamin B12 deficiency can cause many illnesses ,depression, anaemia, dementia, autism, ringing in the ears, pins & needles in hands, migraines, fast heart rate, painful joints & back pain.Meds like antiacids, statins, metformin given for diabetes & PCOS ,antibiotics, chemo all deplete Vitamin b12 stores in the body. Also nitrous oxide & stomach stapling interfers with absorption of Vit b12 .Active b12 or Holo is accurate as both my hubby & I were misdiagnosed thanks to the flawed low range of serum b12.Ask your Dr to check folate, ferritin, iron,Vit D ,MMA,homocysteine levels.Check b12awareness.org watch video clips for life saving facts.
