There wasn't as much stress. 2 horses from the rescue moved away to get fostered and I was fairly attached to one of them. On top of that there is the question of whether or not they're in good hands. Even though our director carefully evaluates each and every one of our prospective adopters, I still kind of wonder whether or not they will take care of the horses we give them. It was a bittersweet good-bye, but enough time has passed for me to move on.

I know you work at a place where humans have failed animals so I imagine placing your trust in other humans must be hard.
