Sertaline

Hi, can anyone please tell me how they think sertaline has worked for them with there depression ??? I also have anxiety but the beta blockers I have are only to help calm you down when you feel it's at its highest !!! Any information I'd be really very grateful, THANK YOU

Hi I have been on sertraline for around 6 years now and they are helping me quite a lot. I started on 100 mg but now take 150 mg. They have been a lifesaver for me. They don't suit everyone though as we are all different, but you need to give them time to kick in.

I do have a few side effects such as bad dreams, feeling hot and sometimes a bit twitchy but I can live with that. Give them a chance and if they don't agree with you after around 4/5 weeks then go back to your doctors and try something else. They are the 3rd ones I tried so it is often trial and error. Bev x
