Another of our four cats - this one knows he is the superior in terms of intelligence and he won't be herded - just lies down in the middle of the floor so we have to pick him up when it's bedtime.

I have our 4 trained to come to a particular loud noise I make, or to the cowbell that hangs on the back of the door to their room - we used to allow them all over the house at night but found they woke me up regularly, so now they are shut away at night but have the cat flap and garden to explore. xx
