Hi to all that replied to my last post sorry I didn't reply but thank you all I'm still going through a rough time but getting there day by day hope you all coping with each day

Hi Duncan .

Eight days is an awful long time between posts ,

I hope you are getting over the loss of your dog ?.

When my cocker spaniel died it was about 6 months before I got a rescue dog, to help keep my dad and I company

As my mother had also died just before we lost " spot", now dad is gone and the rescue dog I got to replace "spot" is now nearly 17 years old he's a staffie and has been my greatest companion for all those years,

He fains deafness as he's an old gent now, and can do as he pleases.. his back legs are beginning to get a bit wobbly, but he's still a character and like everyone who loves their pet I will really miss him when its his time.

But for now he still charms the neighbours and anyone that meets him ,and that's just fine by me, he's in the back garden right now chasing pigeons .

I am sure with time you'll get over your grief and find yourself another companion.
