Does any-one else get like this ? Sunday evening , back to work tomorrow , the anxiety , worry & nerves start kicking in ? More than just the Monday morning blues , dont know why , done it a 1,000 times , worry about sleeping , tired , feeling vulnerable again .

Just a tip from a friend of mine, he found he was spending too much time on his days off preparing for work, ironing clothes, preparing notes, sorting lunch box. So he has made a rule that work stuff only gets done on a work day. That way days off are totally free, no more of that sunday evening prep of getting out clothes or even thinking about the next day. A small step I know, but every little helps. For me my challenge is to try to sort out work aggro as it occurs, or at least before I go home that day, easier said than done, but life long habits of avoiding confrontation tend to get in the way,, made slow progress on that new year resolution.

Yes, I'm the same on a Sunday! Eeeeek! Hope Monday goes smoothly for you xx

Hi

In some ways I wish, I wish. I envy you right now. Mondays can mean a return to the drudge, but how I wish I still had that particular kind of drudge to moan about at times when I have nothing to do and can't find the motivation to do anything. Then life feels dead.

But it sounds as though it's hard to be worrying so much. What's the worry - whether you will cope? mixing? being good enough? stress? and what else is there in your life to balance work? Is there any way you can work towards changing what you do so that you are not always feeling so vulnerable? It all sounds like a bit of a treadmill for you and that's a tiring way for life to be. I there any way things can be altered?

i am the opposite.. I look forward to going to work as it keeps my mind busy and no time to fret about other stuff. I have the school holidays coming up and hope I don't get too anxious during those. Just have to keep busy. Hope your Monday goes well. xx

Hi there, I am retired this year, so no longer have those " Monday Blues" . Would it help to try and plan for your weekend to make it as relaxing, good, enjoyable, energetic, as it could be. If you enjoy your weekends, then I think you might not have that feeling of " oh its Monday again" and back to the grindstone.

Do you like your job? is it the peope you worry about? or is it just generalised anxiety, could you talk to your GP about it.

I think if you plan to make a good weekend it might help. You can then look forward to it during the week, I dont think many people are too crazy about Mondays. Hope this is of

some help to you.
