Hi , my friend thinks she might have depression again. I don't know what to do to help her because I ament suppose to know so what should I do? :/
What will I do?!: Hi , my friend thinks... - Mental Health Sup...
What will I do?!
Hi - I would suggest that she goes to see her GP, who can prescribe both medication and 'talking treatments' and hopefully catch it quite early.
If she will not do this, there are books - such as "Feeling Good - the New Mood Therapy' by Dr David Burns, or online courses such as moodgym.au which help you with cognitive therapy - plus a number of reputable depression sites.
You do not have to be suicidal to phone the Samaritans, or another helpline, and these, too, can be very helpful.

I told her last night how I accidentally found out and told her I know how she feels and I tried to comfort her as much as I could but she said she dosent want to tell her mum because she doesn't want her to worry. She also said she dosent think there is any point in going back to her doctor because she thinks he will just send her back to therapy :/ ill try my hardest to try and get her to get help though, thanks Ann
