I am 55 years old and recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My Gleason score is a 6. My Urologist suggest we go with Active Surveillance for treatment. I'm leaning towards the TULSA procedure for treatment. Has anyone heard of this, possibly know of somebody that's had it performed, or had it done themselves?

I did not have the TUSAL procedure, nor do I know much about it, but it seems like a reasonable option for a man your age and Gleason score. I had surfery at age 65, Gleason 7. It got the cancer, but both incontinence and ED have beena problem. So, if you can avoid those outcomes with a new treatment, I'd definitely consider.
We're all different, but after my Gleason 6 (3+3) score, My urologist and I decided on active surveillance. 10 years later and without treatment the cancer has not developed so I have not needed cancer treatment. By contrast, Benign Enlargement has been much more problematic for me.
