I have an appointment booked but would appreciate some help!

I recently discovered what I thought to be just a birth mark on my scalp, had grown in size and expanded. Has anyone seen anything like this before or dealt with one personally. When I was younger my parents would call it a ‘strawberry’ I don’t believe that to be it’s medical term. I have an appointment on Saturday and would just appreciate some input! I have health anxiety and would like to calm my nerves haha!

From the pic, it looks as though the surface is undergoing changes so as well to get it checked out and, if appropriate, removed. Are you seeing a dermatologist?
