5 days ago I had a circumcision due to phimosis (tight foreskin).
A few days have passed and I noticed this sack area underneeth the head of my penis. I don't know if that's normal or not, please can someone help me? I have some dried blood there, and I shower the area a few times a day but I avoid trying to peel anything off. I also can't seem to pull my foreskin back as I'm afraid to break anything and it's very pressured.
Is it just swelling that will go away or is it something more serious?
All detail and tips would help.
Thank you.
--Edit
I have seen a doctor and have been prescribed course of anti-biotics to reduce the swelling - Is that sufficient?
Also, will I be able to avoid any further operations?
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have seen a doctor and he has prescribed me a course of anti-biotics. I am due to be seen in a different hospital today as well and see what they say without prompting anything. Does this look serious or cod this just be some swelling? Thanks
The area does look quite sore, but I would wait to see what the second Hospital say. Meanwhile do not try to peel anything off or pull the foreskin. You may be overdoing the cleaning, the wound will benefit from being dry. Just try cleaning the effected area with water if you think it is needed or very mild soap.
Hi, Jaglad thanks for responding. Today I have went to the second hospital and they have said to continue taking the course of the anti-biotics. The consultant also advised to try stretching the shaft and the head apart a little for some cleaning, that however is very painful so he has said to leave it.
I am very concerned about what will happen, I really want it to heal and I really hope I will be able to move my foreskin. I hope this kind of swelling is "normal" and not a huge complication. What do you think?
Also I like the idea of keeping it dry as you said. Initially that has also been advised on the documents but many nurses and some doctors told me to add a cold/damp cloth to it - I guess that would spoil the effect though.
The cold/damp cloth may help soothe if it is sore but not for cleaning. I can understand what is meant when Doc' says to stretch the shaft apart as if the area does dry up it could be painful to separate, though a good soak in the bath should help that.
I would keep up with the antibiotics and have quick shower to keep the area clean. Air dry or pat dry gently.
