Scoliosis and weight lifting

Hi. I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis and crossed body syndrome when I was in highschool, I'm 26 now. I've been lifting weights (only dumbbells, 20-30 pounds) since a few months now. I'm concerned that it could worsen my back issues. Has anyone else struggled with this? Any advice?

You really need to discuss this with your doctor or physiotherapist.

If you have underlying back conditions you should always check any new exercise type with your doctor or other healthcare practitioner before starting it. That way you do not risk causing damage to yourself. Belatedly, you should do that now.
