Day 11 after Circumcision and noticing something peculiar (Image included)

I'm Day 11 post op and I'm worried if this looks normal to ya'll;

Now the peculiar thing is, I've noticed a day ago that I still discharge a clear/yellow-tinge liquid out of the incision site every so often (usually during the night).

Not only that but there's little red spots forming on my head and little bumps under the head (as you can see in the picture). What could it be?

And lastly, there's also a bit of discharge from an isolated area that smells of Smegma. Are these normal post op occurrences?

The weird colour discharge is very common it’s part of the healing process. However if it’s a green/off yellow colour along with the area being very hot then it’s a sign of infection.

From the pictures it’s looks fine but if your unsure it’s always best to see a doctor.

Everyone reacts to a circumcision differently so prepare for bruising /lumps and bumps for at least 6 months before everything will settle back to normal.

I had a similar issue with small red marks but mine were caused by the surgeon placing dissolvable sutures to hold the gauze in place and a stitch through the glans for traction during the procedure for a tighter cut.

Do you bath the area in a warm salt water solution 2/3 times a day? I found that helped keep the penis clean and reduces the chance of infection, the area still looks slightly swollen so apply some ice indirectly to the area.

I'm actually seeing a doctor (not the one that circumcised me) in three days for my Two Week check up. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, so I've been on the phone with the surgeon who did it concerning these questions.

I found him super dismissive but as I've said, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac so he probably got annoyed.

Also, I've been showering once a day and cleaning the incision site with a 5min Epson Salt pat down Twice a Day.

Knock on Wood, Thursday all goes well.

It will settle down but around glans especially can be sensitive for six months or more if you are old or have another issue such as diabetes.

I'm 25 and the doctor doing the circumcision refused to do it unless I went for a couple of tests , diabetes being one of them. I'm clean on that front, btw.

I'm just hoping that my check up goes well Thursday (fingersCrossed) and the next 6months aren't too rough.

Looks good bro be happy with that

Your circumcision looks really good. You dick will look nice. It doesn’t look infected but keep us posted. Also I think you are doing well for 11 days on. Another 11 days will work miracle for you, the difference will be very noticeable. Right now you have to be patient and let time heal your wound. Hang in there
