I am disappointed after vasectomy, I seem to suffer from sexual dysfunction. Its been 4 months since I had vasectomy I have not had real sex, I am embarrassed, disappointed and feel hopeless in that I can’t satisfy my wife anymore, what should I do?

I can’t it up after vasectomy
I'll be real honest, and real blunt... any sort of trauma or surgery to the pelvis or lower abdomen is like walking a tight-rope. As soon as you cut tissue, nerves, and muscle, you're going to run into problems. It's very likely that you're experiencing some form of pelvic floor dysfunction that may subside or remedy itself in time. My question for you is can you get an erection on your own? Could it be mental stress or a feeling of inadequacy, or is there no function at all?
If it's possible for you to achieve an erection on occasion, it might be something mental, otherwise I would suggest a blood panel to look for low T.
Word of warning to those considering this procedure. Don't do it. Bag it up, or pull out, but it isn't worth the potential side effects.
Yes this is a traumatic experience for your Manhood but when you get back into the swing of things it will be so much better.
If all worked before then all should work now.
Try to relax and not pressure your self. Pleasure your wife in other ways.
Just think, no more looking for a condom when the need arises, just get in there !
Hi I honestly think it’s likely to be mainly psychological. I had the ‘snip’ myself and it took me several months to get over the sense of loss of my masculinity. It did get better with time and now I am totally fine. For me it was a big deal so I do understand. Try not to obsess about it, or be too tough on yourself. Just remember you are still producing sperm - it’s just being reabsorbed into your body. It will get better with time and your erections will be the same as before. Take care
Hi Tshaka, I just wanted to see how you are feeling about this a year later. Are you still having sexual dysfunction, or do you feel like you are back to normal now?
Thanks,
