Night erections

So I'm now 8 days post op, it's 4.40 am & I've been woken up approximately every hour since 9 pm by raging & painful nocturnal erections. I emptied my bladder before I went to bed & needed 1 piss during the night but other than that they've just been so regular, any other tips on how to prevent them or at least limit the amount, I feel absolutely knackered 😞

Erection happen due to blood supply in Penis shafts. It happens in night during sleeping may be due to relaxation or dreams or due to change in emotions. If you can control emotions try. No other method known to me. Your doctor can give you some medicine, which is not desirable

It's horrible, funny thing was 1 of my erections was caused by dream in which I was banging a stunning blonde girl but my pain must've transferred to my dream as I wasn't enjoying the sex at all πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ yeah saw every hour last night, woke up just now to find a stitch has burst so having a soak in the bath, hopefully it'll soothe it.

Dont drink past 6 PM. Drink plenty of water during the day, but make sure to make that cut off long enough before you go to sleep. Some erections are caused by your body trying to make you not pee yourself when you sleep.

When sleeping on the side, use the fetal position for sleeping. Knees slightly bent towards your stomach to reduce tension. If you sleep on your back, sleep with your knees upwards, not just supported by a pillow under the knees, literally have your feet soles flat on your bed and your knees up, that is the "fetal" position simulation when sleeping on the back.

You can have a pack of ice water near the bed to help you calm down erection that are bound to happen anyway. Or try to think of something very unsexy that will help you get erections down quickly. Usually the pain itself is enough but for me it was sticking my penis into a pile of snow, helped a lot.

Other than that, not much you can do about erections since you can't really control them.

Good luck

You can drink plenty of water during the day. Not drinking from 6 PM (obviously depending on when you go to sleep so adjust accordingly) is perfectly fine since you will be sleeping for the majority of time anyway.

If you go to sleep at midnight then 9 PM, I mean I assume he is an adult and not an infant and can regulate it. Also not drinking for even 12 hours when the majority of that time is sleep is perfectly fine.

So yes, the answer is just fine and helps with the night time erections somewhat. Have a good day.

You sleep an unhealthy amount of time, and are giving me beef for telling a person not to drink past a certain time to ease night time erections. Classic.

Anyway, getting fluids into your body throughout the day will keep you hydrated, so not drinking for 6-8-10 hours will literally not do anything for you. The 6 PM is a guide line, I assume you are an adult and capable of thought. If you go to sleep at 12 PM then obviously, you don't need to stop drinking at precisely 6 PM. I mean common sense used to be a general thing, I guess it is not anymore.

The point is, if you are really that thirsty, then yeah clearly half a glass or one glass isn't going to be terrible. But if you drink a litre of 2 hours before you go to bed, you can be sure that if you don't pee it out, and it is going to hurt when you have a boner in the night because of it.

So, not drink for 2-3 hours of consciousness then sleep for the next 6 hours is literally NOTHING, if it means it can help with the erections. Sometimes I feel you just need to argue for the sake of arguing. If you need everything spelled out to you well then tough luck, but common sense is a trait that should not be scarce.

Why should I apologise for your comprehension issues? That is not my fault, nor do I see any reason to apologise. You're acting childishly looking for an argument when there needs to be none, should you be able to use common knowledge, which now seems obvious you are not truly capable of. Hence why further conversation with you would be pointless and just derailing this thread. Hence I bid you a good day and farewell.

Hi guys, I appreciate all of your advice, I can actually see both of your points, I have read before that needing to per can cause a nocturnal erection but also i drink a lot of water so would find it difficult to restrict my intake early evening but everyone is different!! Let's not fall out with each other though as this forum is for us all to help each other out not argue! Again I appreciate all the advice on here. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
