Bad news though...I had my 7-day follow up appt today with my surgeon. Tell me why l kept getting erections all thru the night and they were uncontrollable too. Well, long story short those advents end up ripping parts of my stitched seam on the top part of the shaft.

One importsnt thing I was told today: DO NOT DO THE SALT BATHS PERIOD WHILE YOU HAVE STITCHES!!!!!

My Doc said that the Magnesium sulfate weakens the chemical structure of the stitches and make them fail to function real quick. He said TO NOT SOAK OR BATHE IN WATER EITHER. Showers only, and make them quick and lite with no soap. He said I should have never put vaseline on my head everyday. Softening and moisturizing your head glans will warp the keratization process of the glans becoming tougher tissue and going through it chapping phase. Also do keep your bandage on definately for 2 whole days and not lesser.

He said try best to avoid theberections and if you cant try to derect it asap! Being bottom-naked at home will allow your wound to air, dry, heal, and seal much faster.

After 2 days, your urination will spray haywild.

U have to invest in gauzes and other supplies yourself. Go to your nearest drugstore or Walmart

Omg bro same here. The doctor said it was fine if I had peed on the bandage a little but I had to go back 2 or 3 days after that. I was really scared to take the bandage off when I tried to pee.

Aye they told me don't take any baths, soap, or creams. Just dripping on some sterlised water.

Erections at night are killing me. Think count last night was about 7. Any dream at all causes them and the more exhausted I am the more I dream. It is a real issue and one I see as the biggest obstacle to curing. Could do with an anti vigrara.

Check up with the doctor is tomorrow.

Okay mate I had two erections last night which weren’t bad due to the bandage but bandage came off this morning, and worried about the bit underneath as it’s all bloody and flesh, I tried the salt water aswell but couldn’t clean under there as super sensative

It will heal. However I wouldn't be taking baths. Did they mention anything to you because they warned me to definitely not do it. Makes sense with the stitches being dissolvable.

My doctor told me to take Sudafed (Pseudoephedrine HCL 30 mg) for erection blocking.

Its a nasal decongestant otc that is supposed to divert blood and pressure away from areas that are detected to have a high concentration of pressure.

Ask your doctor what does he advise

I can be fairly honest I’m on day 18 and yours looks pretty damn good for it just being done mines was lot more horror show. I woke up in hospital to a massive blue bandage that covered the lot and it was very heavy due to swelling. Just a quick note aswell take every bit of advice with a pinch of salt.. everyone’s got their own different methods and opinions including doctors.. I phoned nhs on day 2 and they were telling me to jump in a salt bath straight away so yeah. Do what’s feels right to you but looking great regardless keep strong.

But see I don't understand why doctor's who profess in urology and are experienced would yield variant advices for a common surgery..??? They explained to me that our body will take care of the incision wound on its own, and to keep the bandage on and compressed on that wound for 48 hours. Time enough for the initiation of its own natural seal. Then when you expose it after the 48 hours and keep it dry for another 3 days its supposed to finish the completion of sealing off the wound. By the dissolvable sutures still being dry, they have at least 95% of their manufactured strength to be able to hold the integrity of the wound together when erections begins to happen soon, and will be suitable to hold the skin from breaking away with the least deviation.

After another 2 weeks of that stronghold (3rd week) the sutures should have performed their function and are now timely ready to disenegrate organically into the skin. This is the time where some men notices some sutures dissolving properly and some remaining even longer. Once you visit your surgeon he can make the decision for them to stay in place furthermore, or be removed, based on your skin health and healing process. The 5th week is usually the deadline for them to be out by, because the skin fuse is thickening and you don't want a hole being established in the skin's aesthetic.

The purpose for salt baths serves two reasons to what I understand. As a reducer of tissue/muscle swelling, and as an organic antiseptic. But the penis is so sensitive and the sutures are too, until salt shouldn't really be used before the sutures have dissolved or need to be. The body should be able to be its own antiseptic facilitator, and reduce its own swelling using the lymph agent. So salt is not really needed unless you have swelling or infection attacking your penis later on down the road passed the stitching period, or if you need additional assistance in making them to dissolve because of any overstay.

I made my simple mistake by soaking my penis in the 1st 5 days in a cup of epsom salt water. When my 6th night came (the day before my surgeon checkup) I was getting erections that entire night, because the salt (magnesium sulfate) had basically sped up the healing process of my severed nerves through skin osmosis, until they were gaining their biological function back quickly of providing neural stimulation to my inner foreskin, which was feeling good and making me erect real easily and uncontrollably. My lymph fluid had went away and my penis had reduced down its swelling to normal size. I was excited for the apparent speedy recovery.

BUTTTTTT! The consequence was that my sutures were so weak from the salt baths of the previous 3 days until they snapped apart through the erections when normally they were strong enough to endure them..smh

I had gotten some rips and tears in certain parts of my skin sealing. My surgeon was disappointed and instructed me to cease any more salt soakings, moisturizing my glans with vaseline daily, and to allow the torn raw skin to settle and attach itself to my shaft's exposed rawmeat naturally for a skin fuse.

He told me to keep the area dry, apply a thin layer of antibiotic neosporin around it, and take the antibiotic pills for possible infection.

Last night my skin started producing lymph swelling on its own in response and it created a sticky pre-sealant, my erections were minimal and harmless, and I layed naked in the air for maximum dryness. (Raw tissue can't properly reattached when wet from foreign moisture other than its own biotic chemicals) This morning I was proud of my skin attempting to hold and reattach itself in a good place while my other parts of the scar line is still intact and improving. I applied a small lite amount of antibiotic neosporin all around and wrapped it with a non-sticking gauze with medical tape kinda snug to compress and hold the skin in place for the rest of today, and its my first day going back to work (8 days after surgery). I'll remove this temporary gauze sometime later today. Meanwhile I'm drinking some protein meal replacement shakes with 26 nutrients so my immune system can be nourished and banked.

The thing is my stitches are under the skin so there not really showing as it’s day 1 now after op it is still so sensative to even touch it the dresssing fell off in the night and the nurse, doctor and urologist all said if it comes off leave it off ... ? I’m really scared I’ve posted another two pictures on my wall can you look and tell me wha my you think please ??
