In most cases of phimosis, circumcision isn't necessary. You are at the age where you should be able to retract your foreskin without too much problem although some guys still have problems at your age still. As you mention it is still relatively tight, I would say to continue (or start if you haven't) trying to stretch it gently (don't force) when bathing in warm water. As long as you aren't experiencing problems urinating (foreskin ballooning when peeing) then you should be ok to try and stretch out the skin normally.
Dont ge afraid to see a medical professional for this, circumcision isn't the only solution to phimosis, in many cases it can be the last solution. There are creams that the doctor could prescribe to reduce inflammation and assist in the stretching process. There is also a procedure known as a partial circumcision that leaves the majority of the foreskin intact. Just seeking medical assistance doesn't automatically mean circumcision and you do not have to consent to the procedure if you dont agree with it.
When you do manage to pull back the foreskin you may see smegma, dead skin cells and oils that have been trapped behind your foreskin. Don't freak out if you do find a lot, it will smell but you can slowly wash it off. If you have any questions just ask.
Hi mate, firstly if in don’t speak to a Doctor or your father. Some mothers do find it difficult to there sons about problems down below. More so your age. Your dad is the best one to chat with and should be able to help you. You are still young and therefore you don’t have to be to worried about it right. I wouldn’t consider the circumsion route just yet. Try stretching it will work for you it is a process that takes time and you need to be gentle.
