Painful spot near crotch

Hi guys

I have a real painful spot that keeps recurring on the inside of my thigh it’s really swollen as you can see in the pic, any ideas what it could be and how I can stop it recurring as it’s severely irritating

Looks like an infected ingrown hair. I have gotten these before, the only way they improves was for me to pick out the hair. If possible do not remove the hair, once you are able to pull it out just cut it short with some scissors. Having a new hair grow while the tissue is healing will cause another ingrown hair.
