Tips and advice for cleaning a circumcision.

Hello, everyone, I need tips and advice to clean the area, it has scabs on the incision area. I went to see a urology nurse and she said to clean out the scabs by bathing for 15 minutes. How do you take them out correctly? Do I gist soak area and they come right out or do I need to actually pull them out once they are loose. -Thanks

How many days Post circ are you? Go with a mild soap and water that’s all you need for a cleaning. Some guys recommend salt baths but to me it irritated more than helped. By day 21 if the stitches felt real loose i would twist them around a little and get a feel for it.

I'm 12 days in right now, I just took a bath about 15 minutes to let them scabs become soft and just fall off. I didn't scrub or pulled any out. After that, I just put some anti-infection was on an air dried then Neosporin.

Stick with the short baths using very mild soap. Do not pull anything !
