Hi!! Two weeks ago I had protected sex with a prostitute. I am worried for AIDS infection. The condom was half way down my penis and thats the reason I am worried. For the moment i do not have any early HIV symptoms even its early. Should I worried? Note that she said she does not have any infections!
Thank you

What country are you from, or what country was the prostitute from? The chance of transmission of HIV from a woman to a man through sex is statistically very low so you should not be worried too much. Also you used a condom, not sure if the prostitute insisted or it was your idea but either way it was a good one. For HIV to get into your body you'd have to have a wound on your penis through which the infected "fluid" would get into your body. You can have an HIV person drop blood on your skin and unless you have a wound there, you will not get it.
Thank you for your reply. Thank you for you encouraging words. The prostitute was from Romania. I believe is just the fear of getting the AIDS infection.
Well AIDS develops after HIV so even if you get HIV which is unlikely as I said, you'd still would be able to not get AIDS.
Once again, its very unlikely that you have it, however for to be 100% sure and you being able to sleep and not think about it, you can get tested 1 month after.
By that time would not appear any symptoms? The only worring thing I have notice is pain/ stiffness in my arms and fingers. If you know this is a thing to worry?
HIV symptoms usually occur after a certain time which can resemble a flu, a test is taken after a month because until then the body does not produce the "anti-bodies" for it. And symptoms usually show in that period (most of the time at least, there can always be exceptions). I have never heard of stiff arms/fingers as a symptom of HIV.
Not really symptoms for HIV. Sounds like you need more potassium and/or water. Cramping could also mean some nerve damage but the cause would be either physical or neurological but not caused by HIV.
I should clarify "wound" does not necessarily mean a big one, a minor tear that you might not even notice or feel is enough but once again its unlikely.
Don't assume that prostitute's have diseases, most don't. If you were in a brothel most go through regular tests which is generally done out of good business and reputation etc. Where was it?
I am sorry wishing not to be rude, but if you are worrying about getting AIDS you should not have gone with a prostitute then. Do not make harsh decisions and if the blood test says you are not infected, do not jump again over a prostitute thinking that if you have not taken AIDS once, you can not take it this time. Be responsible about your health and it is stupid to being healthy ending your life in 10 years, maybe less.
