yellowness on external urethral opening (picture)

I'm booked in to see GP but can anyone advise what it could be?

I've also got grey/scaring on areas of the head urologist mentioned it's scarring when i did my circumcision and prescribed some steroid cream for it but im worried about the yellowness on the area of the urethral opening.

If you’ve recently been circumcised this can be normal but if it’s come up and you’ve been circumcised a long time it’s best to see a doctor.

im not sure to be honest, circumcised 7 weeks ago, this originally had white scabbing on it which i peeled off but seems to have turned yellow in colour.

i will see my gp it's just to understand what it could be

It will clear up then it sometimes happens when the glans has been exposed but yes I agree a trip to the go wouldn’t hurt 👍

Yeah most likely a scab. It didn't have to happen during the circumcision, it could have happened when you started walking too soon without protecting the head. Its yellowish coz it dried up. What you can try and do is put a gauze with vaseline on it (medical vaseline that does not have any fragrance or added stuff to it). That will keep the scab moist and will prevent it from drying out and tearing.

thanks for the advice, ive been using caneston on it and it seems to be working, it's turned from yellow into a darker colour and i can now touch the area of the opening before it was quite painful.....
