Urethral opening sore after circumcision

Hey guys so I had to have an adult circumcision 10 days ago, so far it's healed pretty well and the bleeding and soreness has stopped, however there's one thing that's still alarming. The tip of the penis, the urethral opening, it's really sore and red and sometimes it even sticks to my underwear and when I try to unstick it it hurts like HELL, I tried creams but so far nothing has worked. What is causing this and how do I make it better?

I'm now 5 weeks post op. I had this same issue for around 3 weeks. I assume it's because it's not used to being exposed. I found the opening seemed narrowed as well as being red and sore where is rubbed on my boxers. It has now calmed down and the opening is no longer swollen or narrowed. I'm sure yours will resolve itself in time as mine did. Hope this helps.

Hi I’m 5 days after op and swollen big time I use vasaline around the tip to stop sticking other than that naked st every opportunity lol

Hey, has beening naked and exposing the glands to the air helped decrease pain and sensativity?

Honestly it has the pain is still there but standing in your garden at night naked you get s feel of relief...sounds stupid but works for me for that moment

I have loose fitting pj’s and try to just lie on my back. Woke up one night on my front and yeah painful

I wish I could wear loose pjs but the slightest rub/touch of my head on anything really hurts and is sensative

Yeah mate it’s gonna hurt mine is still really swollen also a shower helps me feels good. Strangest thing is peeing it’s like a hose pipe lol cleaned the bathroom floor more times this past five days than I have in my whole life lol

I could not pee straight for about 3 weeks, it came out so fast that I actually stepped back to see how far I could be from the toilet. I got about 6 feet and could've kept going. I'm ebaying our fire extinguisher, we don't need it anymore, I've got it covered!

Haha yeah I know mate it’s crazy I thought if I sit down on the toilet it would be fine but it’s that straight and strong it comes out from the gap under the seat.

Hahahaha, do you know what, 44 years of standing up and after 3 weeks of soaking everything in the bathroom, the missus asks "why don't you just sit down?" I've never even considered it. Would've solved a lot of issues if I had I think.
