Foreskin Problems

Hi. Im a 15yr old boy who suffers from psoriasis and i have seen this may link to a tight foreskin. It isnt tight until erected and then i can just roll it over the head of the penis. Would love to know solutions without getting GPs involved or parents.

I'm not aware of any connection between psoriasis and phimosis, but ask your dermatologist (you must have one, because you received a diagnosis of psoriasis). The only link could be if your psoriasis involves your penis. Anyway, can't you go to your doctor alone? You are 15 years old and you deserve your privacy when you need to go to a doctor. GPs (and ANY MD) are supposed to be very discreet, and I can assure you, they look at many many penises of men of any age, so don't be afraid to show yours! Just go, and show it naturally; if you are embarassed, tell the doctor, and the doctor will probably smile and will help you feel comfortable; remember: for the GP it will be as if he/she looked at your mouth, or hand, or ear! It is just a part of your body. I suggest you to go because, if you have really phimosis, there are various solution to overcome the problem. Sometimes phimosis disappears spontaneously, some other times it doesn't.
