Hi, I'm conscious of the need for male friends and company, male only activities and bonding. I see this as a positive step to good all round mental health. Struggling to find men only groups in West Midlands - Birmingham area. Any suggestions? Cheers!

Thanks for your reply - I'll check it out.
I quite agree. I've found it difficult after moving (8 years ago!). I have a couple of friends, but they have come though friends of the wife (partners). It's not an easy thing to find with work and family life, leaves little time for much else!
I have come to realise that many of my current challenges are because I don't have close male friends. Men talk and discuss very different things than we would with our female partners. We also behave differently with our mates. All of these things help to distress and make for better mental health and general wellbeing.
I've failed in my objective this year to cultivate one or two good close mates but aim to keep trying. Married life tends to certain around sisters and brother in-laws and sometimes this just isn't enough.
