wound still open

hey I’m just past week three of being cut, however still dealing with wound separation, and none of the skin has really come together, all my stitches are still in besides a couple that have burst, I had really thick foreskin before the surgery just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

hi, congrats on being circumcised. It took me 5 weeks for wound to fully heal. Stitches burst and I have separation for 5 weeks. Hang in there

hi, I love this page it got me though the mental worries of being circumcised.

It took mine 6 weeks to heal, the wound site got infected and split the stitches. Antibiotics, wound separation the lot. And 1 year on…..I got a grade A Catalogue cock 😂

Time is the most important thing for this to heal…don’t touch it…in any way lol. If you have dissolvable stitches don’t put anything on them but I spoke to my gp when the wound separation was still there after stitches had gone. There was some cream with a algjnate in it? I’m not scientist but I believe it helps cell growth. I was given this and within days I was already feeling good about it all.
