Possible testicle issue?

Hey. I am new to this forum. Thanks for taking the time.

I’m 24, haven’t had intercourse yet, but have had oral before.

The gist of what I’m feeling:

Maybe last week Thursday, I noticed a feeling in my right testicle. Not a painful feeling, but more of a dull ache, maybe a pulsating feeling. So I thought it was normal so I just didn’t think much of it. The next day, barely noticed anything.

On Saturday, I was greeted with the same feeling a slight dull feeling, so I went to go and feel around and investigate. Upon feeling around, I did notice that maybe the epididymis(maybe) may be a little swollen or inflamed (atleast it felt like this) it doesn’t feel like the ENTIRE thing is inflamed but just a lump ish area. Upon looking in the mirror you can’t tell there’s a difference in size but my right testicle does seem a little swollen. When I touch the area of where the problem is, it’s not painful, but more of an odd feeling. Doesn’t burn or feel hot to touch .

I told myself I would give it a week or so before seeing a doctor, because maybe it’d go away. But after a while of attempted self diagnosing through google, I don’t have any painful urinating, no discharge from the penis. No blood in urine. I can easily urinate.

Although after realizing this on Thursday I had held off on masturbating just to see if that helped.

One thing to note though, in the past when masturbating, there were times where I would actually feel a discomfort in my right testicle during the masturbation but not during ejaculation. It would be like a split second of random discomfort, almost as if I can feel a vein itself in the testicle.

Sorry for the long message I was trying to be as thorough as possible.

Any advice or possible reasoning behind this?

Go see your doctor as soon as possible. Not because it is urgent, but if it is important enough for you write this post, it means it's important for you to have your mind put to rest.

I had same with right one too, also a pain when ejaculating, like a pulling pain n right ball raised a lot higher when erect, course of antibiotics cleared it, as above defo gp or sexual health clinic 👍🏽

The guys above are right. Go and see your doctor just in case there’s a problem.

If ejaculation hasn’t cured it then get to a doctor. My guess is they will refer you for an ultrasound scan initially (they did when I had a painful epididymis).

(If it is the worst thing possible that’s no doubt in the back of your mind, it’s easily cured as long as you act quickly. So treat it seriously, don’t fanny about waiting a week before seeing the doctor or wasting time trying to Google it!)

Definitely mate go and see the doctor he probably will send you for a scan when i was in my mid 20s I kind of had something like this but it turned out to be a small lump so they removed that and checked it for cancer all was okay its probably just a lump of sorts just get it checked don't take the doctors word for it ask for a scan to put your mind at rest good luck come back here when you have results.

Hi Man, have it checked out for your own peace of mind. it's probably something simple just a course of antibiotics it's very important not to leave it. and if you do have a scan my friend and my brother had something similar they had a scan and it's really simple nothing to worry about 5-minute job.
