Post circumcision ejaculation

I’m 12 days post op and I keep having erections even during the day. My glans isn’t as sensitive as it was in the beginning, my stitches are starting to fall out, and my incision looks to be pretty closed up. All in all, it’s been pretty good easy going process so far. I know the docs said not to have sex for 4 weeks at least but I’m wondering if it would be a good idea if I just stimulate myself to let some of the tension out to hopefully stop the constant erections. Anyone with experience this early in their recovery care to chime in?

I know we all heal at different rate. I was always horny and couldn’t help myself. So, two weeks after my circumcision I massage my glans until ejaculation. Boy, it felt so good. However, three hours later I was in a lot of pain. My entire dick hurt for a few days. I am now at 2 1/2 months and still not healed all the way. My fault of course. I had sex after 2 months and I paid the price with some soreness and some pain. So, if you can wait, please do so. You may delay the healing process. But, who knows. We all heal differently.

how long do you advise leaving it alone ?

Go see a GP for advice as there are things you can do. For example, some sinus medications have the side effect of preventing erections. This however needs to be directed by a doctor, please don’t try getting things yourself as we are all different.

For anyone following and wondering, I ended up stimulating my glans very carefully and it felt great. I later read Carl33’s post and was worried it would hurt later so I did a cold compress for 20 minutes, took some Tylenol, and ended up falling asleep. Even though I didn’t ejaculate, I slept through the night without any problems! Also I’m not in any extra pain, just a tiny bit sore. Though it was probably too early for me to start experimenting. Have my appt with my doc tomorrow and I’ll definitely bring it up and see what he says.

I’m so glad you were careful. I little soreness is not so bad! Just, don’t do it everyday. You are still healing. Trust me, I know it is so hard not masturbate! I will be worth the wait!

You’ll probably find the erections start feeling less painful around this point, just uncomfortable rather than pain. That’s what I found. I waited to fully masturbate till the fourth week but I did the same as you occasionally in the meantime to see how it felt. It’s worth waiting! Good luck with the healing.
