I had an appointment with doctor today, as there was swimming ring or donut type swelling above the ring. Doctor removed the ring as he told me after few days swelling will come down gradually but still swelling is there and I have lot of concern regards to my swelling, perhaps there is one more thing which is constantly bothering me is that how glans sensitivity will decreased and I haven’t done sex yet to be honest because of phimosis, now while sex if my glans is sensitive than how to manage this type of sensitivity. Your views and experience will be appreciated.
Thanking you in advance.

Are you at about 2 weeks since the operation now? If so, swelling is definitely going to be present for a bit longer. 6-8 weeks is the first healing phase and you should not masturbate or have sex until at least 6 weeks have passed (I waited nearly 8 and definitely did the right thing by waiting). I still have a little bit of swelling at around 3.5 months on and around my frenulum. It takes times, but that swelling will decrease hugely as stitches dissolve, your tissue heals and things become more settled. Remember, you've had a serious operation on a VERY sensitive part of your body, swelling is all part of the healing and protective process. Lots of blood moves there to help you heal and protect the soft tissue. You got this.
