Stapler Circumcision Day 10 swimming ring swelling around staplers and None of the staplers are fallen yet

Hello, I underwent stapler circumcision on June 8 2024, I am on Day 10 none of stapler is fallen yet and there is swimming ring which is heavily swellen below the staplers. I am worried too much and now it looks scary. Doctors suggested once the stapler started falling automatically swimming ring type swelling will come down. I am worried that about staplers not falling and swimming ring swelling. Please if anyone have gone through this kindly suggest.

Hey bro. Hope you're okay. 10 days is early days in the healing process. As previous commenter said, lots of new cells and blood flow going on down there. Swelling is to be expected but will resolve in time. As the swelling goes down and the staples come out, everything will start to feel better. Being worried is natural, I was worried about a few stitches that hung on for 5 weeks, but they came out eventually and everything felt calmer down there. Reach out here and vent or just ask for others to share their experiences. You got this, and we are all here.

Ring may take 3-5 weeks to drop.

Keep the penis upright to reduce swelling, don't let it hang.

Can wrap a gauze around the ring after applying antibiotic ointment as prescribed.

You may dip it it warm water to losen it up but do it only if your doctor suggest else wait for few weeks
