9 days after circumcision

Day 9 and the skin below frenulum(whats left of the forskin) looks to be almost devided by the stitches, the stitches are in the place where the Fremulum used to be and connecting the Glanse With the skin.

Its a bunch of Stitches in that area crossing one another and i can see 2-3 holes in between.

He saw me the seccond day and has removed the bandaid, he told me it was healing just fine and is a surgeon over 20 years but im worried.

he has told me i can go back to work after 5 days.

Im 22 y old, and i wash daily after day 2 he told me its fine.

i did dip some iodine-lod on the wound,

Almost no Crust formed on the side below Fremulum and there are a lot of stitches in that area.

Hi bro. First of all don't panic. I had what looked like holes around stitches where it pulled after getting erections. As long as there's no bleeding the the wound is healing. It heals from the inside out. It may turn whitish and feel hard as it heals too. My frenulum area was the slowest to heal. I'm almost 4 months after now and it's all healed good. Keep dipping in salt water to prevent infection and promote healing.

Devon-uk givez you thr best advice: dip the wound in cooled salted water (boil the water first to sterilise it and add a teaspoon of salt to a mug). If you can soak for 5 minutes or so a few times a day, it will help prevent infection and helps promote healing. Don't wash the salt water off but gently dry with a clean towel or swab.It is not generally recommended to use antiseptic or iodine on circumcision wounds. Salt water is best for the healing skin.

If your surgeon gave you some antibiotic cream or gel, use that after the salt bath.

The frenulum generally heals a week or so after the main wound but be patient as every day you will gradual improvements with the healing.

Any bad smell from the wound, swelling or bleeding that does not reduce, or if you have a temperature, see your doctor as it may be a sign of infection.

This operation gets more difficult as men get older so you are wise to have had the surgery in your 20s.

As your surgeon will have said, it takes up to 6 weeks or more for the inner healing to take place and up to a year or more for the new look to settle down.
